Abstract |
Data Security are the most important concern in communication system. With the growth of communication technologies and internet, use of images and videos have also increased. There are different techniques that provide security to data which are being transmitted and received. This paper describes an effective technique for the security of image using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm. This paper gives information about the encryption and decryption of image using AES. AES was developed as Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) by The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2001. The AES is also known as Rijndael (its original name). AES replaced Data Encryption standard (DES) that expired in 1998 [8]. AES can be implemented in both software and hardware. Keywords - AES, DES,Cipher, Encryption, Deryption. | |||||||||
