Abstract |
This paper proposes a method to accomplish the SoC estimation mechanism based on extended Kalman filtering (EKF), which adapts to the change in cell characteristics. Therefore it provides accurate estimation over the lifetime of the pack on a lead-acid battery. The changes in the behavior of the battery are considered in the proposed SoC estimation method which makes it suitable for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) applications. | |||||||||
