Abstract
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the demand of wireless systems and applications that need high frequencies ( in terms of MHz ) for their operation. Due to the advancement in high frequency applications, Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTAs) have evolved as an competitive area of study in the analog domain. OTAs are the basic building blocks of the systems working on high frequencies.In this paper, a CMOS OTA has been designed in 180 nm technology, with 1.8 V power supply, using Cadence Virtuoso tool. A high frequency OTA-C filter is realized using the same design. Keywords - OTA; Folded Cascode; High Frequency Filter; Gm-C Filter.
