Abstract
Dry eyes disease also known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca is one of the common eye-related problem which occurs due to deficiency in tear production or when the tears are not of the correct consistency and evaporate too quickly .Globally 337 million people suffer from severe, moderate, or episodic dry eye syndrome. The aim of the proposed system is to design a wearable humidifier to help reduce dry eye by continuously monitoring the dryness of the eye . The system can self-regulate according to the relative humidity as set to produce mist particles using a ultrasonic mist maker. This mist produced can increase small area humidity level in and around the proximity of the eyes . The electrical module comprises humidity and temperature sensors, DC pump, ultrasonic mist maker , microcontroller and Eye blink detector to alert the driver from drowsiness.
