Abstract |
This paper investigate the Iterative Channel Estimation for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing over wireless channels. Iteration Channel Estimation utilizes data symbol estimates to improve the channel estimation performance. Maximum A Posteriori approach provides the optimum Iterative Channel Estimation for the OFDM system. The Maximum A Posteriori based Iterative Channel Estimation performs well over threshold controlled based Iterative Channel Estimation at low and mid range of SNR. The Maximum A Posteriori based Iterative Channel Estimation has converged within one iteration for a high SNR. If SNR is low, this approach yields a little performance improvement for next iterations. Index Terms - OFDM, iterative channel estimation, EM algorithm, performance bound. | |||||||||
