Abstract
We present a rigorous path integral of a dynamical system in the Deng-Fan potential. To this end, an approximation of the centrifugal potential for any ๔€œ” state is used and nonlinear space-time transformations in the radial path integral are applied. The exact bound state energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions are obtained for a particle bound on the various values of the quantum numbers ๔€œ– and ๔€œ” and compared to those of Schrodinger formalism.
