Abstract |
This paper is a comparative study of different instrumentation amplifier architectures to be employed for monitoring cell voltages in battery monitoring systems. The different instrumentation amplifier architectures are analyzed based on swing and linearity. Improvements in the existing architecture which can enhance linearity and can ease the opamp design is also suggested.
