Abstract |
PVC pipes are tested using a test machine utilizing both air and water for its operation and gives higher outlet pressure with lower inlet pressure. In proposed work three stations Pipe Testing Machine is developed which consist of three channels to test a pipes for quality assurance and test is carried out simultaneously for long duration. This machine comprises of three analog input channels coming from pressure transmitters, depending on the set-pressure and input from pressure transmitters the FEED and RELEASE valves are operated for controlling pressure across pipes which are to be tested. The pressure is applied on each pipe according to the bureau of Indian standards. Keywords— Raspberry pi (model B+), Solenoid valve, Pressure Transmitter, Hydro-pneumatic pump. | |||||||||
