Abstract |
Multi-level inverter has emerged as an attractive choice in the field of medium and high power applications. Multilevel inverter synthesizes the staircase voltage waveform from several DC sources which has reduced harmonic content. Multi-level inverter reduces dv/dt, switching losses. A comparative study of various PWM schemes for diode- clamped five-level inverter with three phase induction motor as a load is presented in this paper. A Matlab Simulink model is created and simulated using various PWM control schemes. These schemes are compared for THD analysis. Keywords— DCMLI, SPWM, SVPWM, PD, POD, APOD, THD. | |||||||||
