Abstract
Abstract - Industrial automation and Process control greatly reduces the need of human supervisory and workforce. Process control and advanced process control techniques mainly focus on regulating the output variable against the dynamic real time changes happening in the system among the different process variables and disturbances caused around the system, even if there is a rarely changes in the setpoint value. The goal of this paper is to give an insight to the performance of Feedforward-feedback Controller in maintaining constant temperature in a tank. Regulating temperature has a vital role in the industries like dairy, food processing, pharmaceutical industries etc. To achieve this one of the methods is Feedforward control with Feedback control which gives the better performance. The disturbance is calculated and feedforwarded to the system through the feedforward controller. The system with feedforward controller itself is not sufficient, with this feedback controller. Using NI MyRio and LabVIEW, the feedforward controller is designed and system performance is observed. Keywords - PID Controller, Feed forward Controller, NI My RIO, Lab View, UART
