Abstract
Abstract - Current article reviews and analyses different regulation seeking methods with focus on correcting distinctive disadvantages of the most commonly used railway point electric heating control system. Advantages and disadvantages and other propertiesof different regulation methods for point electric heating control systems are described using SWOT analysis. As a result of SWOT analysis, regulation method based on regression equation is proposed and simulated in PSIM environment. Effectiveness of the proposed regulation method wascalculated with positive result and respective graphs were constructed and analysed. Future research and modelling of advanced systems of point electric heating control with possible inclusion of fuzzy logic and neural network are discussed in conclusion section.
