Abstract |
This paper describing the use of a Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) device Static VAR Compensator (SVC) to achieve reactive power compensation based on Fibonacci technique control using voltage only. Results are verified by demonstrating a successful model of a single-phase, single-machine on dSPACE using MATLAB Software, where the use of dSPACE helps to achieve real-time monitoring. The main objective of this to maintain a stable and secure operation of system performance.
