Abstract |
A wide variety of optimization techniques have been applied to solve optimal dispatch problems. The objective of this paper is to optimize the generation schedule of a large power system to satisfy the objectives by using Genetic Algorithm and Differential Evolution methods. These methods have been applied to IEEE 30-Bus system and the obtained results are compared with the results obtained by using more popular method, i.e. Genetic Algorithm.
