Abstract |
Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is used to mitigate power quality disturbances that may arise in power distribution network. Multi Converter Unified Power Quality Conditioner (MC-UPQC) is the modified form of UPQC capable of power quality compensation in multi-feeder or multi-bus system. This paper proposed an Anti Windup control based on PID controller for MC-UPQC. The performance of MC-UPQC using the conventional PI and PID controller, Anti-Windup PI and proposed Anti-Windup PID are compared. The simulation result of the proposed method is analyzed using MATLAB/Simulink software.
