Abstract
This paper includes performance of 5-level cascaded h bridge multilevel inverter with SPWM technique. Multilevel inverters have high power application & low harmonics due to these applications it is used widely in the area of control and energy distribution. The simulation result of five level cascaded H-bridge inverter is observed with the other topologies of multilevel inverter like flying capacitor and diode clamped. Simulation result of these topologies is tested using MATLAB. Circuit operation is presented; simulated and total harmonic distortion is analyzed. Keywords - SPWM technique, MATLAB/ Simulink software, Cascade H-Bridge Inverter (CHB), THD analysis.
