Abstract
The paper was prepared primary for The simulation of APM traction power supply. The algorithm of the APM movement with the gradient profile added and power flow calculation is created and implemented in MATLAB/M-file adopting Automated People Mover (APM) – Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) Hospital Line as a case study. It is expected to show the effectiveness of the proposed APM movement modelling to evaluate energy demand at substation, power losses and the voltage profile of the APM during the movement of the APM.
