Abstract |
World over the problem of scarcity of qualified doctors is alarming. Uncertain nature of calamities and seasonal make it further difficult to manage this. In this work an attempt is made to highlight the use of fuzzy set theory in the field of medical diagnosis. Fuzzy set theory allows to incorporate the opinion of a number of doctors in proper diagnosis of criticaldiseases. It is also helpful in providing proper diagnosis at an early stage of diseases in remote areas with use of some trained technical medical experts. Therefore, it is proven as an effective tool for the medical diagnosis. Keywords - Medical Diagnosis, Fuzzy Set Theory, Fuzzy Number, MADM, VBD | |||||||||
