Abstract
Large earthquakes have damaged the irrigation pipeline facilities. The design standard criteria of pipeline in Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Rural Development Bureau in japan has been stipulated how to verify structural functions and implement countermeasures, but does not mention hydraulic safety. This research evaluated the risk to hydraulic functions of irrigation pipelines based on scenarios in the event of a large earthquake to contribute to various hard and soft countermeasures to predict or prevent accidents.
