Abstract |
In this study we basically analyze the distribution of temperature in Hydrodynamic journal bearing. In journal bearing, temperature distribution is varying with different operating parameters and loading conditions. In Hydrodynamic journal bearing lubrication oil is filled in between shaft and bearing and the space where oil is filled is called lubrication gap. In this analysis we manually vary loads on bearing shaft. Keywords - Hydrodynamic Journal Bearing, Pressure distribution, Lubricating oil. Abbreviations - T1= Temperature of bearing surface measured through left side thermocouple. T2= Temperature of bearing surface measured through right side thermocouple. To= Oil film temperature | |||||||||
