Abstract
the sub cooled flow boiling of water in a vertical heated pipe is numerically investigated. For this purpose, the Eulerian-Eulerian (E-E) two-phase CFD model is used in this study. A sensitivity test is carried out to present the effects of the nucleate boiling parameters (i.e. nucleate site density, bubble frequency, and bubble departure diameter) on the heat transfer prediction of water subcooled flow boiling.
