Abstract |
Abstract - In this research work, the current impact and the potential impact of the use of Solar Cooker installed in different countries have been analysed. For the analysis, Solar Cooker International, World Health Organisation and International Energy Agency data and reports have been used. Data set of 50 countries have been collected and analysed under multiple headers. The results specify that the number of Solar Cooker installed in a country depends on the location of a country, proportion of population dependent on polluting fuel for cooking, its per capita income and average size of a household. Further it is found that number of Solar Cooker installed is not directly proportional to the number of premature deaths due to indoor household pollution, which could be seen in case of India and China.
