Abstract
Abstract - The main aim of this study was to examine the effect of MWCNT on the weld joint together with the variation of tool rotation speed and transverse speed on tensile and microhardness of weld joints of AA6082-T6 Alloys. Experimental results showed that by addition of MWCNT there is decrease in ultimate tensile strength and increase in micro hardness of the weld joint w.r.t. base metal. Specimen made at rotational speed of 1000rpm and welding speed of 80mm/min with addition of MWCNTs at weld joint had maximum tensile strength.
