Abstract
In the present work, a statistical approach based on Taguchi technique and finite element analysis were adopted to determine the parametric significance on the formability of cylindrical cup using warm deep drawing process. The process parameters were thickness, punch velocity, coefficient of friction and temperature. A forming limit diagram (FLD) have be drawn out of the results to analyse the fracture phenomenon. The Sheet thickness and coefficient of friction have been found influencing the quality of the cup drawn from Inconel-600.
