Abstract
This study examined the relationship between work-environment, occupational stress, job motivation and job satisfaction among loco-pilots (railway drivers) in India with data obtained from sample of 60 loco- pilots (railway drivers) working in Chhapra under Varanasi Division, NER-Gorakhpur in India. For assessing the construct of work environment, occupational stress, job motivation and job satisfaction, Likert scale was used that is derived from different sources have been previously used and tested by different authors. The purpose of this study is to calculating and reporting Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient for Likert scales, and Correlations analysis between variables that was used in this study. Keywords- Railway driver, work-environment, occupational stress, job motivation and job satisfaction.
