Abstract
In the first week of holding his office, Trump signed a Flurry of executive orders addressing the topics like: foreign aid, trade, healthcare and US Mexico border. The experts across the global network are confused regarding Trump‟s impact on global business landscape. This paper is an attempt to understand the policies of President Donald Trump regarding global business and trade and examine the impact of trump‟s policies on global businesses and trade. It has been found that Trump has the policy of moving away from multilateral trade deals to bilateral free trade agreements. He has been trying to implement policies that will put United State and its citizens first. The international businesses that are operating on cross border basis are most affected by the negative change in the US attitude towards various trade agreements. Overall the contours of the global trade and economic environment are likely to remain in flux. Keywords - Democratic, Globalisation, Multi-lateral Trade.
