Abstract |
The success of software projects highly depends on the level that their outcomes (i.e., the developed software products/services) satisfy the needs of all stakeholders and software requirements encompass these needs. In this paper, a state of the art survey is presented in the area of Requirements Engineering (RE). The paper presents the problems solved through the RE processes, summarizes the current research and industry status in the field and presents a classification scheme of various RE methodologies.
