Abstract
Investment decisions are made by investors and investment managers. Investors commonly perform investment analysis by making use of fundamental analysis, technical analysis and their self-judgment. It is assumed that various decision making factors and market information influence ‘individuals’ investment decisions as well as the market outcomes. Investor behaviour derives from psychological principles of decision making in order to explain, why people buy or sell stocks. These factors will focus upon how investors interpret and act on information to make investment decisions. The study has endeavoured to find out the major factors influencing investment decisions of the investors in the Odisha province of India.
