Abstract
Much research focused on the impact of the abilities of team members on team viability. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between employee creativity and team viability. It was also hypothesized that transformational leadership and team social capital would respectively moderate the relationship between employee creativity and team viability. Data collected from 285 individuals, including managers and employees in China, who provided their team experience in workplace for the proposed research model. The reliability and validity of measurement scales were demonstrated. The results supported the hypotheses that employee creativity positively impacted on team viability, and transformational leadership and team social capital played a positive moderating role. These findings will help managers to design a management system for accumulating employee creativity to enhance team viability. Keywords- Employee Creativity, Team Viability, Transformational Leadership, Team Social Capital.
