Abstract |
The main objective of this research was to explore the consequences of talent management on academic staff with reference to their satisfaction with talent management practices and turnover intentions. A quantitative research approach was followed with Talent Management questionnaires distributed to academic staff in South African higher education institutions (N=146). The results showed that academic experience a higher level of talent constraints compared to talent enablers. Signification relationships were found between Talent constraints, Talent Enablers, Satisfaction with institutional practices and funding and Turnover intentions of academic staff.
