Abstract
The purpose of this research to explore the impact of leadership styles of hospital unit’s managers on employees’ job satisfaction in the Jordanian Public Hospitals. A survey was conducted on 672 employees including 336 doctors and 336 nurses were asked to rate how frequently their unit manager demonstrated each leadership style on a five-point scale and present employee’s job satisfaction. The result of this research indicated that leadership styles have a strong positive impact on employees’ job satisfaction (.60, C.R= 8.21, p= .00). This study provides essential link between impact of leadership style and employees’ job satisfaction, and how the leadership style can play great role increasing employees’ job satisfaction in hospitals.
