Abstract |
The transaction cost is important in export-import shipment. The foreign trade depends upon transaction cost. But exporter from many under developing countries faces problem of transaction cost. Therefore, this problem become subject of the study. This study has been carried out with Indian export company. It is found that the transaction cost of the export shipment is nearly 30% of production cost. Therefore, export from India is not economically viable, due to this high transaction cost.
