Abstract
A sea change has occurred due to the increasing societal and customer demands for economic, environmental and social responsibility. The business scenario today demands the organizations to adopt sustainable business practices to be able to survive for a longer period of time. Quality of Work Life affects job satisfaction and motivation that have a huge impact on employee retention. Retaining talent is a major challenge for human resource sustainability. Hence, this study has been conducted on 150 respondents in the public and private sector banks of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India to identify and prioritize the factors affecting Quality of Work Life for sustainability of the human capital.
