Abstract
Throughout my teaching career both in Cameroon and Thailand respectively, I have realized with a lot of dismay that no matter how excellent a teachers is, no matter how effective his teaching methods are, some student will always find it hard to understand and will always go back home with empty heads or will grasp just little knowledge from the lessons taught in school. This article is an attempt to answer the following questions; who are slow learners? What are the factors that cause some students to be slow learners? How can we identify slow learners? And lastly, how can teachers cope with slow learners. My objective in this article is to really understand who slow learners are. I will also bring out the needs of slow learners and how to meet them.
