Abstract
The huge of change in social interaction in this 21st century is effected on parent child relationship in communication in particular. It’s interesting to note that the parents nowadays have low level communication skill to communicate with their child that leads to poor parent-child relationship. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to descript the quality of communication between parent and child, and parent-child relationship in early childhood .22 voluntary parents with children at age between 4 to 6 years old were deploy to be subject in experiment and control in equally number The descriptive statistic used to describe the personal characteristics, parent’s media use and the communication scale (COM) showed that their socioeconomic and parent’s media use were affected on the quality of communication by parent toward child.
