Abstract |
This research is made with the purpose of generating an improvement proposal to upgrade the service level through the equipment efficiency focused on distribution and maintenance management in a functional maintenance center since a reduction in customer retention was observed, resulting in a 60.09% and equipment efficiency of 80.04%. Through the criticality analysis, the main deficiencies were identified in order to analyze the ideal work plan, a new equipment distribution was proposed and a maintenance program was established. As a result of the performed actions: machines' availability, and maintenance indicators were upgraded; also an increase in the service level of 36% was allowed.
