Abstract
Abstract - The need for more substantial work-integrated learning (WIL) is becoming a growing concern as employers seek graduates who are conversant with organizational procedures specific to their industries and who are prepared for the workforce. In order to address the triple problems of unemployment, poverty, and inequality, the government has prioritized education and skill development as among its top long-term goals. The importance of work-integrated learning (WIL) and the role it plays in employability have been underlined in numerous government programs that have been implemented over the past few years in South Africa. The policies show an increasing focus on work-integrated learning as a fundamental and crucial part of education. Keywords - Work Integrated Learning, Employability, Government Policies, Education Policies
