Abstract
Abstract - This study was an attempt to analyze the dynamics of technology trade between India and China before financial crisis, between financial crisis and after financial crisis. Technology in the study classified as per the Sanjay Lal classification SITC-3 digit, and the data are gathered from 1995 to 2018. To check the reasons behind the changes in the exports of India in technological commodities, the constant market shares with four different periods such as; 1995-2006, 2007-2010, 2011-2018 and 1995-2018, has been used. The paper found that technologically India had good competitiveness in the market because of the price and non-price (quality) factors, and also understood that demand for these commodities was also high in the world that caused exports of India to have growth. But also as per the market distribution effect understood that China was not a good partner for India to send its technological commodities because Chia had more comparative advantage than India and also the world was sending more technological commodities than India to it. Keywords - Bilateral Trade, Technology, Constant Market Share
