Abstract |
This paper aims to discuss the importance of education and how an individual uses its knowledge. The term “Third World Woman" itself portrays the illiteracy of the countryside women, who were ignorant about the laws and human rights, for which they are most likely to be sold from place to place, like an object. Moreover, Saunders has blown away his readers by depicting the American culture, which changes according to their wealth and fame. Father goes blind due to the possession of luxuries, that he comes down with an extreme idea about gifting his daughters the Semplica girls. „The women who are forced to sell themselves to the rich due to poverty. To show that his daughters should not lack in anything and, to be successful in providing every need of his daughters.
