Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate gender diversity management practices (DMPs) in the hotel industry and the impact of gender on the hotel employees‟ perception toward the gender diversity management practices. The results showed that the majority of hotel employees were female and young generation. Most hotels have conducted gender diversity management practices effectively therefore both male and female hotel employees can recognize that their hotels tried to provide equal opportunity in recruitment, selection, training and development, promotion, and compensation to male and female employees. The results of the study also found that the approach that hotel companies used to help their employees balance their work and family life may hinder rather than supporting gender equality.
