Abstract |
In the modern era of higher education, it is exceptionally challengingfor teacher to counsel students in terms of academic matters. Techers have abundant data related to different aspects of students but to derive appropriate insights from them is very challenging. Predictive analytics plays an important role to cope up with such challenges. However,for effective predictive analytics, numerous factors must be considered such as selection of proper academic and social variables, appropriate volume of the data, and quality of the data and adoption of suitable predictive algorithms. This paper deal with exhaustive literature survey of predictive analytics in educational domain specifically for higher education. The paper also discussed analysis of existing literature survey and identified research gaps. | |||||||||
