Abstract |
This paper briefly presents a research done in prisons, during which I wanted to know what motivates inmates to study during their times in prison. I wanted to know if I was right about my hypothesis; or I was wrong and not only do prisoners go to school for scholarships, but because they see training as helping to reintegration and avoid recidivism. If they really go to school because of strong faith in the future and to get a proper education there, the number of recidivist people should be reduced. But unfortunately this is not what happens.
