Abstract |
Transport is one of the most polluting sectors due to thegreenhouse gas emissions. However, the railway is considered as a clean collective transport means (low emissions, low energy consumption), and therefore a key for sustainable urban and interurban mobility. Moreover, the railway industryischangingits traditional schemes towards a circular business model. This research tries to determine the barriers and drivers when implementing a circular business model in the railway industry and to stablish the strategy to promote this change.
