Abstract
Gender and age identification is one of the applications of image analysis and understanding. The biometric features of a face can be used to identify the gender as well as age of the person. The model detects the faces present in front of the webcam and classifies them as male and female along with the prediction of age. Keras of Open CV is used for the classification of gender and prediction of age. Based on the gender and age detected, an advertisement is targeted which is related to the age group the person belongs. Recently it has been applied in many areas such as security, monitoring, surveillance and commercial profiling and human-computer interaction. Our system is designed to classify the gender and age of an individual using facial images. Keywords - Gender Classification, Age Prediction, Neural Network, Open CV, Keras, Targeted Advertisement.
