Abstract
This research examines the role of humor style towards job satisfaction, with supervisor-subordinate relationship quality as the mediator. Job satisfaction is the staff’s behavior or evaluation towards his/her job. The humor styles examined in this study are affiliative humor (humor sourced from someone else’s positivity) and aggressive humor (humor sourced from someone else’s negativity). The amount of participants included is 148 from PT. X. The advancements from this research can be used to increase staff’s job satisfaction, based on the usage of humor style and supervisor-subordinate relationship quality.
