Abstract
This paper explores the differences of the four texts comprising a set of original teaching materials. Specifically, the four texts were analyzed using a readability tool and Correspondence Analysis (hereafter, CA). An analysis of the data suggests that, in terms of readability and content, there were both similarities and differences between the four texts. More precisely, regarding readability, the text of Canada is closer to the level of English textbooks which high school students (seniors) use than the other three texts. Also, concerning the content including vocabulary, CA shows that two of the texts, Florida and Canada, are similar to each other, but those texts are different from the other two texts, Thailand and Vietnam. Keywords - Correspondence Analysis, Readability, Original Teaching Texts
