Abstract
This paper proposes an extended technique for Vlsekriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method under fuzzy environment to solve MCDM problem. The imprecise and fuzzy information of the MCDM problem is expressed by trapezoidal fuzzy number. The possibility theory is used to handle trapezoidal fuzzy number under fuzzy environment. In the extended Fuzzy VIKOR method, the possibilistic mean value matrix and the possibilistic standard deviation matrix are constructed to compute the VIKOR index of each alternative. According to the VIKOR index, we can rank the preference order of all alternatives and select the best one. The risk of Ebola virus disease is illustrated by numerical example using Fuzzy VIKOR method.
