Abstract |
Over the past decade, the digital revolution has substantially redefined supply chain. Business platforms such as Airbnb and Uber have disrupted traditional business models. The 2007 financial crisis had a significant impact on the levels of trust that citizens place in the business ecosystem and government institutions. This paper explores how blockchain could impact the business eco-system of Supply Chain Management (SCM), create an unbroken system of trust and reduces market frictions.
