Abstract |
Minimum wage plays a noteworthy role in the living standard of the workers of RMG sector as well as the potential growth rate of a developing nation like Bangladesh. By concerning the issues this paper attempt to find out the significant determinants of the wage of RMG sector and represent the difference between actual minimum wage and expected minimum wage. For this purpose, we have used 100 sample data collected through in-depth interview. By using OLS method, this paper finds the expected minimum wage is not far different from the actual minimum wage. From the findings, this paper also recommended adjusting the incremental bonus with the ongoing inflation rate. Keywords: Minimum wage, RMG, determinants, OLS method. | |||||||||
