Abstract |
The main goal of this study is to have a deep look at the growing popularity of English Language in Uzbekistan in recent years. Moreover, the study compares the trends and statistics in the first year of the country’s independence with the current circumstances in the country. Further, there will be discussed and analyzed what factors forced the language increase in demand and popularity. Besides, we will have a look at the periods of fluctuation and slowdowns. Moreover, there will be highlighted the various steps the language has overcome, from being one of the foreign languages to claiming of being the second language.
