Abstract
This paper uses path analysis to gauge the direct and indirect effects of capital inflows on domestic investment in BRICS countries. The first part is an introductory one, which deals with significance of capital inflows in BRICS. The second part deals with the data and variables used for the study. The third part deals the effects of capital inflows on domestic investment in different countries of BRICS. The fourth part is conclusion. It brings forth interesting insights.In general it can be concluded that capital inflows in BRICS have a positive effect on domestic investment and growth in these five economies is the driving factor for capital inflows and domestic investment. Keywords - BRICS, Path Analysis, Path Coefficients, Indirect and Direct Effects.
